Here's to the Crazy Ones

These people such as Amelia Earhart, Martin Luther King, Einstein, Wright Brothers, Ghandi etc, etc. All people who stirred things up. They can be labeled as trouble makers, or anything else, but no matter what you can't ignore them because they change things.

I had no idea that MJ had so many failures. It sure was a little more uplifting to imagine that in spite of all his failures he is till one of the biggest names in Basket ball.

Action Hero: Erick Slabaugh

Erick Slabaugh entered the family business at 19 and helped it grow, selling alarms to higher education market. He was very reluctant to go back into the family business, but when he learned that his father was going to have to sell the house to pay for the business which had just lost a Major client, he took action. The first initial pay check is the hardest. When you start off every one else is still making money but you... eventually the tables turn, if you are lucky and smart. When he was needing help he always had someone to go to as an expert. Going through a financial down sizing is painful for the employer as well.

Muhammad Yunus BYU Commencemnet Address

I thought that it was just awesome how he didn't let banks stop him in his path. He knew what he wanted and was even willing to put his own finances at stake to help so many people. All because he was willing to care for other people and see potential in them. By starting up his own bank he could make the final decisions and apply his ideals to his business.
