Acton Hero: Tom Monaghan

Bought a Pizza business and ran it with the original name, but eventually the previous owner revoked the rights for the name and Tom had to come up with another name.  Called it Domino's and their big deal that made their business special was DELIVERY.  He sold the company after becoming extremely wealthy, but found that he was being sucked into the money.  He read "Mere Christianity" by C. S. Lewis and saw his pride that was overcoming him.  So he took a vow of poverty and began giving his fortune away.  He found that he was happier without all the stuff than with it.  His biggest focus for his donations went to educating others. (Schools,Universities, etc.)  He actually is currently living in a dorm.
I would like to think that I would be so generous, but its hard to imagine.  Money can be a BIG distraction.
